Her expertise are: immune system, raw diet, neurological health, metabolic disorders, longevity. Ekaterina started her Plant-Based journey in 2010, when she was a freestyle kayak athlete, competing internationally as part of her national team. Together with her husband James Bebbington (Team GB) they switched to a raw vegan diet in order to prepare for the 2011 World Championships. After James won the event 6 month later – the couple stayed plant-based ever since.
After switching diet Ekaterina also had her best sport performances. She was the only Russian team athlete ever to compete in a World Championship finals (2013, 2015), placing 5th and 4th. Diet change was revolutionary for her recovery, energy level and endurance. She recently started Ultra running (in 2018) and has spent last 20 years engaging in outdoor and extreme sports. Challenging her own body physically on a Plant-based diet was instrumental in understanding practical human physiology and lead to a career change.
Ekaterina is a public speaker and an author. She is available to speak at the events in the UK and internationally. Being passionate about human health and the planets future, she aims to promote sustainable diet and lifestyle, engaging in outdoor activities and sports.
