Guest Post From Jane Sinclair (EFT Practitioner and raw vegan)

I’m going to the UK Fruit festival for ,I think the 8th time this year. I know I’ve only missed one and was sorry I had.

I first came across raw vegan as a dietary choice in my early 30’s when I found a book in a charity shop.

I followed it for 2 weeks and felt fantastic. I had an abundance of energy and felt so happy. At that time in my life I couldn’t sustain it,too many other influences.

However, when I hit the menopause, age 50 and was getting all sorts of unpleasant side effects I remembered back to how I felt 20 years earlier and thought I’d give it a go.

So many things improved,no more hot flushes, better digestion,my osteoarthritis improved dramatically, even  lost the pain in my bunions!Of course my energy also improved ,no more afternoon troughs at work.

This year at the festival I will be offering EFT sessions. This is a technique I trained in in 2020. It stands for emotional freedom technique and does what it says. It involves “tapping “ on your head and upper body (acupressure points) to release stress, sending new signals to the limbic part of the brain and de activating the Amygdala (the stress centre)
I suffered for many years with Stage fright,I’m a professional musician.

Being on stage was a nightmare,I literally froze to the spot in some particularly exposed pieces of music, racing heart, sweating. I was able to completely free myself from this debilitating reaction using EFT. That was 17 years ago and since then I’ve given talks, belong to an amateur dramatic society and can play on stage with no fear.

I decided during lockdown that it was time to train and be able to offer this amazing technique to other people and help them overcome their issues/past traumas, many of which come from childhood and get trapped in the body.
The cause of all negative emotions is a disruption in the body’s energy system.
