Many people think it is as easy as taking a  plane to Thailand and checking out the local markets.  But in reality, they are missing out on finding the real thing.

Lindsay Gasik developed a passion for exotic fruits and particularly Durian, over 8 years ago when she started changing her diet due to suffering from anemia.

This led her to eating more and more raw foods and eventually attending the Woodstock Fruit Festival.  From there she decided to travel for a year following the Durian trail which led to her website “Year Of The Durian”

Within the world of serious fruit eaters and Durian aficionados, Lindsay is held in high regard as the go to expert for all information about Durian.

She has written 2 fantastic guidebooks on where to go to find the best Durian, one for Malaysia and one for Thailand.

She now takes people on tours throughout South East Asia to show them the best places to eat and enjoy Durian.
